A Lot of Current Projects are Looking Very Good

Our projects go through many phases, from initial site visits to final installs, and it's rare that we're doing a lot of installs all at once. BUT, that moment has come, and installs for 3 projects are happening simultaneously. Funnily enough, art installers are also having a moment and my go-tos are all booked/having babies/not available, so this is a new juggle. Not all current installs are necessarily the final situation, but seeing this kind of progress is objectively exciting. Here are the updates:

1. Project Living Room 2.0.

This is living room makeover for a gorgeous Brooklyn Brownstone RENTAL. The family is A) fantastic and B) out of time, so we helped make their most commonly used living space into something more complete. This involved putting stuff on the walls and making some cosmetic changes -- switching around the floor plan, getting some new pieces, and accessorizing. My favorite part was actually the new dining nook with a vintage mirror wall. The full run down is coming to the Project Page this week.

2. Project Nice View.

We've happily found the perfect piece for the lonely wall by the exceptionally nice view. That upholstered bench is obviously going away so use your imagination here.

The purpose of the upholstered bench here is to hold the new painting. It’s going away and a custom console should arrive in 6 months (?)

Here are some additional progress pics. Note: the art will be hung this week and we're continuing with some styling to make it look complete.

We’re putting this nugget over the TV then getting some styled accessories for underneath.

This is a terrible pic but it documents that we’re adding the small circle piece to the wall, BUT both pieces will be lower with a 2” spread between them. Note the circle on top is a nice nod to the subtle circle in the new salmony-orange piece above.

3. Project Hey Hey NJ.

This is a full house project so that's always a process, but check out what we're getting for this next round of buys. We're focusing on organic materials, clean lines, and getting a mix of stuff on the wall -- like art, photos, sculptures and non-traditional objects (like vintage golf clubs) so that each space has it's own unique character and we work within the larger design budget.

These projects will clearly all be professionally photographed soon, and note that I do know my pics are half decent, half not, but cheers! to tangible progress and I can’t wait to share the finished products!
