This waterfront penthouse was completely reimagined by Navia Interiors to frame the iconic view of the Statue of Liberty. Our role was to curate art that bridged the family’s rural roots with the sophistication of their urban retreat. The selections were chosen to harmonize with the design, creating balance and flow in line with feng shui principles. Importantly, the clients were willing to take risks, leaning into art that stretched them out of their comfort zone; the concrete and toothpick sculpture by Chris Soal, which we shipped over from Italy and successfully installed in a very stressful, high stakes moment, was a clear favorite.
